Meg's father's family is from the Stroudsburg area. The eldest son of a low-income single mother, her father spent his childhood picking up odd jobs after school and on weekends to help support his family. His mother worked in a local garment factory. The best memories from his childhood were weekends in his teen years with friends at Child's Park. Meg spent much of her childhood camping and hiking in the Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area because her dad wanted to pass down his appreciation for the outdoors.
Meg her husband Jason moved their family to Milford, PA, in 2010 in part for the excellent reputation of the public schools and, most importantly, to provide their children with a wholesome atmosphere where nature is valued. Jason is a master carpenter and fine artist who owns a carpentry business in Milford, PA. Four of their children attend the Delaware Valley School District, one attends school in NJ and one attends college in Virginia.
The Rosenfeld family includes three dogs, three cats, a bearded dragon, and a cockatiel. The family loves to hike, boat, and take weekend bike rides together.
Meg and Jason have been active community members, serving as Milford Enhancement Committee's Welcome Party Chairs and volunteering to coach local recreational sports teams and at local food pantries. Meg has worked for two local law offices and currently shares her love of the arts teaching advanced and intermediate ballet at Dance Connections in Milford. Meg is a member of Delaware Valley Action!, the NAACP, Phi Theta Kappa, and the Delaware Township Democratic Club.
An experienced educator and legal professional with a passion for advocacy and learning.
Every resident of PA's 139th deserves to have their needs represented in Harrisburg. I am committed to learning more about my neighbors' challenges and their dreams for the district to propose actionable legislation to improve quality of life for all.
